Delete your VLPlay account

You can request deletion of your VLPlay account at any time. This page explains both ways to do it and what happens to your data afterwards.

OPTION 1 — RECOMMENDED

Delete it inside the app

  1. 1Open the game and sign in to the account you want to delete.
  2. 2Tap the VLPlay account icon — the floating round button on the game screen.
  3. 3Open Account, then Profile.
  4. 4Choose Delete account at the bottom of the page.
  5. 5Read the notice about the archive period, then choose Delete to confirm.

OPTION 2

Request deletion by email

Use this if you can no longer sign in to the account, or if you have already removed the app from your device.

  1. 1Email bd@vlplay.vn with the subject “Account deletion request”.
  2. 2State your account ID and your sign-in method: email, phone number, Google, Facebook or Apple.
  3. 3Include information that helps us verify you own the account — a recent top-up reference, a character name, or the game you play.
  4. 4We will verify the request and reply to the address you wrote from before anything is deleted.

What happens after you confirm

  • As soon as you confirm, the account moves to an archived state and you are signed out on every device.
  • For 15 days from that point, signing back in to the service cancels the deletion and restores the account to normal.
  • After 15 days with no sign-in, the account is permanently deleted.

Before you delete

  • Deletion is permanent once the archive period ends and cannot be undone.
  • All progress, characters, items and unspent balance in every game tied to the account are lost, and are not converted to money.
  • Completed transactions are not refunded when you delete an account.
  • If you only want to take a break or stop receiving notifications, you do not need to delete your account.

Data kept after deletion

During the 15-day archive period your data is kept intact so that you can cancel the request simply by signing back in. Once the account is permanently deleted, the personal data tied to it is erased or anonymised. Some records are retained where Vietnamese law requires it — transaction records and accounting documents, for example — for the periods stated in the Privacy Policy. That data is used only to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and prevent fraud.
